
The main applied of re-establishing balance are Acupuncture, Moxibustion
and Chinese Herbal formulas.
- Acupuncture seeks to regulate Qi (energy) and Xue (blood)
that flows throughout the body, alongside channels that are
called meridians. Acupuncture is the insertion of hair
fine needles in acupoints located on these meridians.
- Moxibustion is a warming method used at the acupoints.
- Chinese herbs may be used for internally and externally
acquired disharmonies and are given in the form of either
teas, powders or pills.
- Acupressure, massage, exercise and nutrition are other
important aspects of TCM practiced methods.
Other modalities such as electro simulation of
the needles or cupping even may be used as well.
